PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize power by simplifying power control of an electric vehicle. SOLUTION: The electric vehicle includes a plurality of converting means to convert the voltage of a high-voltage battery 13 into a predetermined low voltage. The power for operating a power supply ECU 16 is converted into the predetermined low voltage by using an activation low-voltage power supply circuit 31 for low power, and supplied to the power supply ECU 16. The power for operating an ECU 18 is converted into the predetermined low voltage via a DC-DC converter 14 for high power, and supplied to the ECU 18. As described above, only the high-voltage battery is employed as the power supply unit of the electric vehicle, and useless power consumption can be prevented.
