PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security camera system which automatically starts to record video information only in such a man-made mistake that an operation to start to record video information of a security camera is not performed by mistake. SOLUTION: The security camera system 10 has a man-made mistake decision means 76 for determining whether a recording stopping state is caused by a man-made mistake on the basis of a maintenance working state of the system 10 when a recorder 24 is in a recording stopping state, and a recording start commanding means 78 for commanding the recorder 24 so as to start to record video information when the man-made mistake decision means 76 determines that the recording stopping state is caused by the man-made mistake.
