PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time zone notice system preventing telephoning without taking the time zone of a partner into consideration, while alleviating control load on the system. SOLUTION: Upon receipt of a call request from a portable telephone 10 of a calling party X, a server 20 at a time zone notice system 1 acquires position information of a portable telephone 30 of a called party Y and transmits the position information to the portable telephone 10 of the calling party X. The portable telephone 10 of the calling party X receives judgment on propriety of connection by the calling party X, while it displays the position information on output means. On condition that it is judged that the calling party X may be connected, the server 20 connects the portable telephone 10 of the calling party X to the portable telephone 30 of the called party Y.
