PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient data storage method called a page differential logging in a flash type storage system. SOLUTION: In the page differential logging, only a differential which is a difference between an original page in a flash memory and a newest page in the memory is recorded. It is not that the differential is calculated and recorded whenever the page is updated on the memory, and it is calculated and recorded only when it is necessary to reflect a updating page in the flash memory. For this, it differs from an existing page system which records whole page containing a changing part and a unchanging part of data, and an existing log system which maintains all recordings of the changing items in the page. Since a flash memory driver is changed and an existing disk type DBMS can be reused as a flash type DBMS, it is the isolation-DBMS method, and a frequency of a write-in operation is reduced and a life of the flash memory is extended.
