PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device approximating and separating a cleaning member and a member to be cleaned by simple structure. SOLUTION: The fixing device is provided with: a fixing member 31; and a pressure member 30 which presses the fixing member 31, considers at least one of the fixing member 31 and the pressure member 30 as the member to be cleaned from which an adhered matter is removed by the cleaning member 36, and thermally fixes an unfixed toner image on a recording medium conveyed to a fixing nip between the fixing member 31 and the pressure member 30 onto the recording medium. The cleaning member 36 is provided with a body part 37 which is driven in a fixed position to remove the adhered matter attached to the member 30 to be cleaned, wherein the body part 37 is provided with a non-removal part 41 which becomes a non-contact state to the member 30 to be cleaned in the state where driving of the body part 37 is stopped.
