PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis device and a multi-unit automatic analysis device capable of outputting an accurate scheduled analysis end time by repeating the calculation of an analysis required time, an analysis start time and an analysis end time at predetermined timing. SOLUTION: The automatic analysis device includes: an information reader 5 which reads analyte information from an information storage medium attached to an analyte container 3a before being conveyed to an analyte dispensing device 2; a storage part 25 which stores the analysis item information of each analyte; a calculation part 28 which calculates the analysis required time, the scheduled analysis start time and the scheduled analysis end time of each analyte based on the analysis item information; and an output part 23 which outputs the analysis required time, the scheduled analysis start time and the scheduled analysis end time of each analyte. The calculation part 28 re-calculates the analysis end fixed time of the analyte and the scheduled analysis end times of the other analytes after the starting of dispensing reagent for a first analysis item to the analyte.
