PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear that a well-known transmission error and play can be processed to be zero. SOLUTION: The gear without transmission error and backlash, wherein: when a profile of a gear is set to be circle, tip engagement becomes zero in play; when a ratio of diameter is set to be one-to-one, a correct transmission angle exists in a range of play in the other angle; when the same engagement is set to be one period, and a plane gear is processed to be helical gear by differential lamination, an engagement with phase shift exists on the lamination at a pitch point, and a behavior of a gear is limited within a section with zero play; the helical gear with a lamination phase width of 1/2 period or more can be processed to be zero in the transmission error and play; a margin of a gear can be set by eliminating an overlap section in a collision direction of the tip engagement; the gear with a different gear ratio can be constructed on a spherical surface in such a way that the transmission error and play are set to be zero by eliminating the overlap of engagement; and in a spiral bevel gear with a concentric lamination of sphere, a gear of the previous application is constructed with crossing angles of all shafts, a gear of the present application, however, can be extended in a definition of obtainable profile.
