<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for a vehicle seat capable of efficiently transmitting side load from a door reinforcement member to a load transmission member even when the side load is inputted to a front portion of a door. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A side sill 8 extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction is provided on a side part in a vehicle width direction opposed to a door 2 lower part of a floor part 6, and a cross member 9 for moving the whole of a seat 1 to a vehicle front side accompanying with deformation into a cabin of the side sill 8 is provided on the floor part 6. The cross member 9 is provided with a central portion 9C for fixing the whole of the seat 1 and extending in a vehicle width direction and inclination portions 9S positioned at both end parts in the vehicle width direction of the central portion 9C, and forwardly pushes out the whole of the seat 1 with the central portion 9C bending the inclination portions 9S by inputting of the side load F. Thereby, the load transmission member 4 of the seat 1 approaches to an input point of the side load F and the side load F is efficiently transmitted to the load transmission member 4 of the seat 1.
