<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling apparatus that has a relatively simple configuration and high filling capability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The filling apparatus conveys a filled and measured object from the filling opening 4 of a hopper to a dropping port 14. A turning body 16 is supported by a body frame so as to freely rotate around a pivot shaft 17. A pair of slider members 25A and 25B are disposed parallel with each other on the turning body 16 so as to freely move forward or backward. An alternate moving mechanism is provided for moving the one slider member 25B forward, and moving the other slider member 25A backward by the turning operation of the turning body 16. When the measuring cup 15A of the one slider member 25A is moved immediately below the filling opening 4 of the hopper in conjunction with the turning of the turning body 16 and the alternating moving mechanism, the measuring cup 15B of the other slider member 25B is moved immediately above the dropping opening 14.
