<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying system and a carriage with less restrictions on a structure on a traveling road side, preventing the occurrence of a failure by a simple structure and facilitating maintenance work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this carrying system 110, a carried object rotating device rotating a carried object in a horizontal direction is arranged in a carrying line with a traveling road whereon the carriage 110 traveling with the carried object placed thereon travels. The carried object rotating device includes a lifting up means 130 for vertically lifting and lowering the carried object, and a carriage rotating means 140 for rotating the carriage 110 in the horizontal direction.
