PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a copolyester resin which is excellent in shelf stability and is capable of forming a resin film excellent in heat resistance, hot water resistance and adhesion to a substrate. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of a copolyester resin comprises the following components: (A) the copolyester resin; (B) a basic compound; (C) 0-25 mass% organic solvent; and (D) water, provided that fine particles of the copolyester resin are uniformly dispersed in an aqueous medium. The aqueous dispersion of the copolyester resin contains 5-50 mass% copolyester resin, and the copolyester resin has a volume average particle size of ≤300 nm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
