The head (1) has a reciprocable axial rod (13) received in a receiving chamber (11) of a housing (10) and a drive shaft (15) pivotably received in a larger-diameter inner chamber (12). The axial rod includes a clamping part (131) and a larger-diameter circular section (132) provided at front- and rear ends of the chamber. A steel ball (133) projects from a rear side of the circular section. The drive shaft exhibits a contact section and a plug insert (152) at front- and rear sides of the drive shaft, respectively, where the contact section includes an inclined guide surface (151). An independent claim is also included for a sculpture- and grinding tool including a hand grip.
