The arrangement has components including seat unit (10S) and a backrest (10R), a head restraint (12), an inspection piece (18, 20) and a probe. The arrangement has a measuring robot (100), which controls one of the components in its measuring positions, and a distance measuring device (16) as probe, which measures rear head distance to the head restraint. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for measurement of rear head distance of a person to a head restraint; and (2) a method for adjustment of rear head distance of a person opposite a head restraint at a vehicle seat.
