The vehicle (1) has a battery (2) e.g. traction battery, formed from a number of separate battery modules (2.1) electrically connected with each other. The battery modules are independently moved in the vehicle. The battery modules are aligned independent of other battery modules in a preset position. The battery modules are detachably fastened to the vehicle such that the battery modules are movable and freely alignable in a preset direction during loosening of connection of the battery modules.
