A catheter 11 with two lumens 11a, 11b formed by an internal wall 16 and with X ray opaque sections 17a, 17b formed on the outer tube 15 at the first and second intersections of the internal wall with the outer tube 15. The peripheral extent of the X ray opaque section on the outer wall at the first intersection a is different from that at the second intersection b. This difference in the peripheral extent of the X ray opaque sections on the outer walls helps distinguish between the two lumens 11a, 11b, when X ray imaging of the catheter is done after insertion into the patient. |
