Disclosed is a filled ampoule containing 2.2 ml or less of a sterile liquid formulation comprising formoteroI and budesonide, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier buffered to a pH of 3.5 to 5.5, wherein the ampoule contains from 10 to 15 mcg of formoterol and from 0.40 to 0.70 mg of budesonide. The disclosure also relates to the use of said formulation for the manufacture of a medicament for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder or asthma, a kit comprising said formulation and a method to prepare said formulation.
