<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving image distribution system capable of recognizing a detailed situation of an imaging site in real time from a remote location, and reducing effort and cot of installation. <P>SOLUTION: The moving image distribution system is composed by connecting a plurality of image capturing apparatus 2, a streaming server 3 and a plurality of moving image viewing terminals 4 via the Internet N. The image capturing apparatus is formed with a digital camera 21, a moving image transmission terminal 25 and a data communication card 29, and a moving image captured by the digital camera is transmitted to the streaming server 3 with radio packet communication. When pushing a viewing button of a request screen in the moving image viewing terminal 4, an image of a corresponding construction site or traffic regulation site is displayed on a display device of the moving image viewing terminal. The communication speed of the radio packet communication is detected and, when the detected communication speed falls below the bit rate of the moving image, the bit rate of the moving image is reduced. Still images constituting the moving image are extracted in response to a still image transmission request, and still image data representing the extracted still images are generated and transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
