TRANSMITTING-SIDE NETWORK AND BROADCAST SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast system for transmitting information without omission to user terminal equipment without trouble in transmission using Gigabit Ethernet at a receiving side.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a transmitting-side network for containerizing content data from a content distribution device that distributes contents. The transmitting-side network comprises: a containerization section for containerizing content data distributed from the content distribution device in such a way that the content data becomes less than or equal to prescribed bytes; a multiplexer for multiplexing the container containerized by the containerization section in a specific format for conversion into a signal form on a transmission line; and a modulator for modulating the signal multiplexed by the multiplexer for outputting onto the transmission line. A byte size of the container is limited, thereby preventing trouble in transmission using Gigabit Ethernet.
