<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite hollow pipe which is useful, for example, as the housing of an LED illuminator which is being used widely because of its superior energy efficiency and excellent color rendering properties and has both light transmittance properties and thermal conductivity (heat radiation properties). <P>SOLUTION: The composite hollow pipe is a one-dimensional hollow pipe with its cross-sectional shape being a similar figure and composed by combining a light transmissive layer 8 made of a resin or a resin composition having a light transmittance of at least 35% and a heat-conductive resin layer 9 made of a resin composition having a thermal conductivity of at least 2 W/m K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
