<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitter module that improves the efficiency of handling operation for a coated optical fiber, inside a closure housing and also can increase the density of a splitter by increasing the number of splitter modules mounted in the closure housing, and to provide a closure for optical cable connection having the same. <P>SOLUTION: For example, a cord-type splitter module 3, having optical connectors 21 and 22 at both ends, is constituted by including a splitter 23, a ribbon 26 of an optical fiber (single-unit optical fiber 26a) having one end connected to the splitter 23; a single-unit optical fiber 25 having one end connected to the splitter 23, the optical connectors 21 and 22 fitted to the other end of the single optical fiber 25 of the ribbon 26 of an optical fiber; and the optical connector fitted to the other end of the single-unit optical fiber 26a. Through the splitter module 3, an optical fiber on an optical signal input side which is introduced in the closure housing, and an optical fiber on the optical signal output side are connected to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
