<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower terminal device as a device resisting collapse even if a peripheral device is additionally installed. <P>SOLUTION: The tower terminal device 100 is secured to an upper baseplate 22 by screws 20. Legs 25 made of rubber or adhesive gel for preventing collapse and for preventing damage to an installation surface are mounted on the bottom of a lower baseplate 23. When an optional touch-panel display 30 is secured to a mounting unit 14, the lower baseplate 23 is pulled out and fixed in a new position by screws 24.
