<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle monopulse type radar device capable of correctly detecting an object by removing unwanted signals contained in a received wave. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle monopulse type radar device 100 performs measurement of unwanted signals at predetermined time intervals, in addition to detection of objects which is ordinarily performed, and measured/acquired unwanted signal values are stored in a storage 103. The radar device is so configured that on the occasion of the ordinary object detection, measured unwanted signal values are read from the storage 103 to calculate an unwanted signal correction value, and by subtracting this from a received signal, an influence of unwanted signals is reduced. In this embodiment, a transmitting part 110 is stopped and only a receiving part 120 side is operated when an unwanted signal is measured, to prevent a reflected wave of a transmitted signal 12 from being measured also being contained in the unwanted signal.
