<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a job authentication function and a confidential printing function by using one authentication information. <P>SOLUTION: A UI module 301 stores a received user name and password in a registry 315 and in a Print Ticket 313 to be transmitted to a printer 111 to 113 together with document data prepared by an application 311, respectively.
