PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mill which has a roll changing function, is compact and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: The rolling mill 10 is constituted so that chocks 12, 13 on both sides of a roll 11 are carried in the inside and taken out to the outside of the housing 26 of the rolling mill 10 by providing pressure-lifting hydraulic cylinders 14, 15 in the lower position and moving the chocks 12, 13 on the right and left of which wheels 16-23 are moved to the work side of the rolling mill 10 along a rail 25 which is paired with the front and rear, wherein the head 27 of each pressure-lifting hydraulic cylinder 14, 15 is put on a top, parts of the rail 25 are arranged on both the front and rear sides of the heads 27 of the pressure-lifting hydraulic cylinders 14, 15, parts of the rails 24, 25 which are provided on the heads which are provided on the heads which are in the lowered position are connected to other parts of the rail 25 and clearancesδare formed between the wheels 16-23 which are provided on the right and left of the respective chocks 12, 13 and a part of the rail 25 which is provided on the heads 27 of the pressure-lifting hydraulic cylinders 14, 15 when pushing up the chocks 12, 13.
