<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snowfall phenomenon display method for reducing computational complexity for displaying large number of snow particles irregularly dropping by three-dimensional computer graphics in real time. <P>SOLUTION: The snowfall phenomenon display method for displaying a snowfall phenomenon by using a three-dimensional computer graphics system having a CPU 21, a GPU 22 and a display unit 23.The snowfall phenomenon display method includes; calculating the coordinates of snow particles by the number of snow particles displaying the snowfall phenomenon by using a force to fluctuate a wind force and a force to fluctuate the snow particles calculated by random numbers for the snow particles or the wind force by the CPU 21; and calculating the size of each snow particle corresponding to he distance (depth) of the coordinates of each snow particle calculated by the CPU 21 by a GPU 22; and displaying each snow particle with the size of each snow particle calculated by the CPU 22 to the coordinates of each snow particle calculated by the CPU 21 at the display unit 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
