PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory device capable of improving a recording density by reducing a floating amount with an improved floating stability of a head slider. SOLUTION: The memory device includes: the head slider having a floating surface facing a recording medium and an outflow end surface located at an air outflow side; a head actuator for travelling the head slider on the recording medium; a lift tab formed on the tip of the head actuator; an inclined plane on which the lift tab advances; a guide plane, continuously formed on the inclined plane, for guiding the lift tab; a ramp member having a sidewall surface disposed facing the outflow end surface of the head slider; and a contact member formed on the sidewall surface of the ramp member, for contacting to the outflow end surface of the head slider.
