PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high temperature combustion using fuel and an O/W (Oil-in-Water) type emulsion. SOLUTION: In a combustion furnace, the atomizing combustion of the fuel is carried out by a first burner, a heat resistant reflector having multiple of through holes disposed in the furnace is heated to 700°C or higher, then the O/W type emulsion is sprayed by a second burner into high temperature combustion gas produced by the first burner to be mixed and collided against a surface of the heated heat resistant reflector, vapor minute explosion is caused by a collision against the heat resistant reflector, and a furnace internal temperature is raised to a higher temperature.
