PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive source stop device more adequately performing idle stop. SOLUTION: This drive source stop device 1 includes: a detection means 13a for detecting the position, vehicle speed and blinker signal of an oncoming vehicle OC proceeding into an intersection where a vehicle C proceeds into the intersection in order to take a right turn; a calculation means 14a calculating time until the oncoming vehicle OC is moved to a position not disturbing the right turn of the vehicle C based on the detected position, vehicle speed and blinker signal, as the right turn waiting time TW of the vehicle C; and a stop means 2a stopping the drive source of the vehicle C when the calculated right turn waiting time TW is longer than a predetermined time TC.
