<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an accuracy of a regulation position deteriorates during a high speed processing in a paper position regulation device that regulates a position of paper in a holding state. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A holding means for holding the paper is displaced between the regulation position and a retreating position retreated from a writing position by a displacing means.
