<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a cylindrical member having a curving flange wherein the peripheral edge part is warped toward the side surface of the cylindrical member. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical member 20 having flat plate-state basic flange 24, is prepared. The cylindrical member is supported while the one-side surface 24b of the basic flange is abutted against the surrounding of a hole in a supporting block 12 having the hole. A rolling roll 14 having the flange 14b at the edge part, is faced toward the outside of the peripheral direction of the basic flange 24 and also, set while securing a gap between the peripheral side surface 24c of the basic flange and the flange, along the radius direction. The rolling roller is loaded by abutting the side surface of the rolling roller to the outer surface of the basic flange while rotating the cylindrical member around this center-line. The basic flange is plastically deformed to enlarge the diameter along the side-surface of the rolling-roller and further, the peripheral edge part of the basic flange is curved along the flange, and the rolling-roller is succeeded to the load onto the basic flange until warping the peripheral edge part toward the side-surface of the cylindrical member.
