<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light source device capable of establishing compatibility between a high output and the cost reduction of the device. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device includes a light emitting section 11, a pair of electrodes 13, 15 for driving the light emitting section 11, and an external resonator for reflecting a part of light emitted from an emitting end surface of the light emitting section 11. The light emitting section has an active layer 144 for emitting light, an internal resonator, diffraction optical layers 145, 146 for diffracting the light of a predetermined wavelength. The external resonator has an external mirror for reflecting the light of a predetermined wavelength. The laser resonator for laser-oscillating light emitted from the active layer 144 is constituted of the internal resonator, the external resonator and the diffraction optical layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
