<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo machine intake air heater capable of maintaining the temperature of the intake air of a compressor within a small range. <P>SOLUTION: A turbo machine system 2 includes a compressor 6 having a compressor intake port 8 and a compressor extraction port 20 and an intake device 40 hydraulically connected to the compressor intake port 8 and the compressor extraction port 20. The intake device 40 includes a plenum 49 which has a first end 54 and extends to a second end 55 through an intermediate part 56. The intake device 40 further includes a heater 66 having a plurality of conduits 80, 90 which extend horizontally to the intermediate part 56 of the plenum 49 and are disposed vertically. The heated air from the compressor extraction port 20 flows through the plurality of conduits 80, 90 to increase the temperature of the ambient air which enters the compressor intake port 8 through the plenum 49. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
