<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and method for increasing the speed of drawing an image on a memory while keeping quality of images of input image data. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: a color information generation means to generate information of color values included in input image data; an Index table generation means to generate an Index table wherein first identification information by a hash value is related to a first predetermined number of color values out of the color values; a drawing means to generate second identification information by the hash value for every color value included in the input image data, execute drawing by the color value when the second identification information is different from the first identification information related to a color value included in the Index table having the same value as the color value, and execute drawing by the first identification information when the second identification information is identical to the first identification information; and a conversion means to convert an image drawn by the identification information to a color value corresponding to the identification information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
