<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling apparatus capable of assisting the closing operation of a loading platform while attaining effective use of a space behind the back surface of the loading platform. <P>SOLUTION: The base end of a loading platform 1 is rotatably supported around a third connection shaft 7 (opening and closing rotating shaft) provided at a parallel link mechanism 2, and the lifting movement of the loading platform 1 is performed by the power of a lift cylinder 8 through the parallel link mechanism 2. The cargo handling apparatus includes an energizing mechanism 24 for assisting the closing operation by which the loading platform 1 is rotated from a horizontal posture to a perpendicular posture around the third connection shaft 7. The energizing mechanism 24 is configured to assist closing operation by the use of the force accummulated during the rotation of the loading platform 1 in a horizontal attitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
