PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protection device suppressing erroneous deployment without causing the delay of deployment and the non-operation of an air bag and protecting an occupant from secondary collision without requiring the deployment of the air bag. SOLUTION: The occupant protection device includes a plurality of impact sensors, and any one of impact sensors detects a signal value of a first threshold value I or more. The device deploys the air bag corresponding to the impact sensor which detects the signal value of the first threshold value or more when non-operation requirement is not effected. When any one of the plurality of impact sensors detects a signal value of a second threshold value II or more being less than the first threshold value, determination of the non-operation requirement is made invalid or sensitive.
