Disclosed is a matrix-type sustained release preparation which is a pharmaceutical composition containing an a basic substance unstable against an acid that is the main medicinal ingredient, wherein the decomposition of the basic substance unstable against the acid can be prevented and therefore the pH-dependent release can be reduced. In a matrix-type sustained release preparation containing a basic substance that is unstable against an acid, a poorly water-soluble basic normal salt is added.
