<p>The address of target data for an instruction fetch from a local memory (12) from a CPU (11) which loads a program from an external memory (13) to the local memory (12) to execute an instruction is stored in an AHR (15A). When an error is detected in target data for the instruction fetch or an operand fetch from the local memory (12) in a parity checker (16), an instruction indicated at the address stored in the AHR (15A) is reexecuted. As a result, when the error is detected again, it is judged whether the content of the error is a soft error or a hard error, and when the content of the error is the soft error and the error is detected in the target data for the instruction fetch, the target data for the instruction fetch indicated at the address stored in the AHR (15A) is loaded from the external memory (13) to repair the data in the local memory (12), and the instruction is reexecuted. Thus, when a parity error occurs, minimum measures according to the contents of the error are taken against the error.</p> |
