To increase protection and safety for the personnel while working on busy roads the following equipment/device has been developed. The purpose with the device is to create a safety area along both sides of the working vehicle towards passing-by traffic and that the safety area has been prepared before the personnel is leaving the vehicle. The device is a channel unit with telescopic protrusive arms with warning lights, at least on one end. The channel unit shall be mounted horizontal at the top of professional-, rescue- and roadwork vehicles, as well as other mobile equipment The telescope function can be controlled from the driver's seat but first when the vehicle has stopped, which is an imperative claim, by using the parking brake switch for the energy supply to device. With a protrusive telescope arm, which has a double leading function, consequently the external part of the telescope arm is creating a temporarily extended safety area enabling the personnel to move on safely and keep passing-by vehicles on a safe distance. The external part of the telescope arm may be stiff or elastic and hanging down, swinging free with its warning lights alongside or/and at the bottom. When releasing the parking brake the return of the telescopic function starts. The lover part of external part is approximate 1,8 meter over the ground to be visual for the traffic and for the personal working safety inside the safety area.
