A receiver (8) is provided for storing the sports device for transportation purposes. The bracket has a fixing unit (61) i.e. sliding latch, for securing the weight to the sports device. The receiver has a locking unit (81) e.g. spring-loaded push bolt, for locking the sports equipment during transport. A steering frame is pivotably attached to a weight body (1) by axle bolts.
