<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly-reliable power distribution control device controlling power distribution to a low-rated heating element by opening/closing a semiconductor device and certainly avoiding damage to the heating element caused by power supply reverse connection. <P>SOLUTION: This power distribution control device includes: the heating element 7; an electronic control unit ECU 5 transmitting a control signal SI for controlling the amount of power distributed to the heating element 7; the semiconductor device 60 opened/closed according to the control signal SI; and a drive control unit DCU 61 for driving the semiconductor device 60 for opening/closing according to the control signal SI. An RBPMOS (metal oxide film semiconductor field effect transistor) 60 as the semiconductor device is provided with: a parasitic diode 601 formed in parallel between a drain D as the power supply input terminal of the RBPMOS 60 and a source S as the output terminal of the RBPMOS 60; and a diode 602 provided in tandem and having a reverse polarity with respect to the parasitic diode 601. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
