<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocatalyst unit in which a technique for decomposing/removing VOC (volatile organic compounds) by means of the decomposition ability of an oxide semiconductor when excited thermally is used and which is suitable for an internal heating system. <P>SOLUTION: The thermocatalyst unit for decomposing/removing volatile organic compounds is composed of a plurality of the layered supporting frames, heat generators and thermocatalyst elements. The thermocatalyst unit is characterized in that the heat generator is arranged in the internal space of the supporting frame, the oxide semiconductor-deposited thermocatalyst element is fit reticulately in the internal space while being opposed to the heat generator to fulfill/optimize a function of the heat generator and that of the thermocatalyst element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
