<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear capable of preventing coaxial error in diameter of pitch circle from being accumulated and enhancing precision in rotation transmission and to provide an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This reduction gear is provided with an input shaft (motor shaft) 11a provided to rotate for a fixed member (housing) 13 being a base, a sun gear 12 provided on the input shaft 11a, a plurality of planetary gears meshing with the sun gear 12, a carrier 15 supporting a plurality of planetary gears to rotate freely and revolve around the sun gear 12 freely, and a fixed internal tooth gear 14 provided coaxially for the sun gear 12 and fixed on the fixed member 13.
