<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel control target generation device reducing a travel time while securing safety, and improving comfort of a vehicle occupant. <P>SOLUTION: ThE travel control target generation device 1 generates a travel control target by use of a travel state change speed of a vehicle. The travel control target generation device 1 includes: a movable obstacle detection means detecting a movable obstacle present inside a prescribed area along a travel direction of the vehicle; and a contact propriety decision means deciding whether contact with the movable obstacle detected by the movable obstacle detection means can occur. When it is decided by the contact propriety decision means that the contact with the movable obstacle cannot occur, the travel control target generation device 1 performs control by the travel control target wherein the travel state change speed becomes larger than time when it is decided that the contact can occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
