<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back tension device for laying a suspension cable (messenger), capable of preventing a pulling rope from hanging due to warpage of the pulling rope and easily adjusting the final length of the suspension cable (messenger) by moving the suspension cable (messenger) laid via the pulling rope in a direction opposite to the pulling direction, and to provide a method for laying the suspension cable (messenger) using this back tension device. <P>SOLUTION: The back tension device for laying a suspension cable (messenger) is used to lay the suspension cable (messenger) between a plurality of utility poles or assembling poles via a pulling rope. In the back tension device, a back tension member capable of moving the pulling rope and the suspension cable (messenger) in a pulling direction and imparting a predetermined load to the pulling rope and the suspension cable (messenger) when moving in a direction opposite to the pulling direction is housed in the inside of a fixing member to be attached on each of the utility poles or assembling poles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
