PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for suppressing an image defect by suppressing angle variation of an optical axis between optical elements such as a semiconductor laser and a collimator lens, an optical scanner, and an image forming apparatus with the same. SOLUTION: The light source device 6 includes a laser light source 25 which outputs laser light onto a prescribed optical axis, a holding member 42 which holds the laser light source 25, an optical system element 26 which is positioned on the prescribed optical axis, and receives the laser light and guides the received laser light to a prescribed object, and a body frame 35 housing the optical system element 26. The holding member 42 includes a body portion which extends in a first direction and holds the laser light source, and an extension portion 51 extending from the body portion in a second direction different from the first direction. The extension portion 51 includes a fitting surface 51a extending on a plane containing a prescribed optical axis L so as not to interfere with the laser light.
