PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article loading device into a building unit capable of reducing cost required for the work for loading articles. SOLUTION: This article loading device 1 moves a forward and backward moving body 23 in the forward and backward directions AB and moves side forklifts 3, 3 in the forward and backward directions AB. This article loading device 1 also moves vertically moving bodies 25, 25 individually in the vertical direction EF, moves the side forklifts 3, 3 individually in the vertical direction EF, and moves horizontally moving bodies 24, 24 individually in the right and left directions CD to move the side forklifts 3, 3 individually in the right and left directions CD.
