PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat which is superior in nonslip effect, moisture removing effect, etc. because a top surface of an upper panel portion of the mat can be kept in the state of making the amount of moisture relatively small, even when the mat gets wet with rainwater or other kinds of water. SOLUTION: Each element mat body E includes the upper panel portion 10 on which an object is to be placed, a large number of support portions 12 for supporting the upper panel portion 10 above a placing surface, and a flat plate-like vertical plate portion 14 or a folded plate-like vertical plate portion 16. In the upper panel portion 10 which is formed in a lattice shape, a large number of rectangular through-hole portions 20 penetrating in a vertical direction are evenly provided all over the top surface of the upper panel portion 10. Fin-shaped protrusions 24, 26 and 28 are formed on the lower side of a partition portion 22 which constitutes one side of each of the through-hole portions 20. Bottom edges of side surfaces of the partition portions 22 facing the through-hole portions 20 serve as upper ends of edge portions 24a, 26a and 28a of the protrusions 24, 26 and 28. The edge portions 24a, 26a and 28a elongating downward in such a manner as to almost continue with the side surfaces incline downward in an outward direction in a view from the through-hole 20, so as to reach the bottom edges.
