PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which contains polybutylene terephthalate as a main component, exhibits high mold releasability, and is excellent in a mold-staining resistant property accompanied by the reduction in a gas component produced on molding. SOLUTION: This polybutylene terephthalate resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of polybutylene terephthalate resin, (B) 0.05 to 5.0 pts.wt. of a higher fatty acid ester comprising an alcohol of tetravalent or more and a≥15C higher fatty acid, and (C) 0.01 to 1.0 pt.wt. of a≥20C higher fatty acid metal salt, in a (B)/(C) compounded ratio of 1/1 to 20/1 (weight ratio).
