Ž<P>SOLUTION: The tire monitoring system has a function for transmitting a disturbance wave from an initiator 12 corresponding to the tire 3 so as to prevent the crosstalk that a sensor unit 30 of the tire 3 positioned at a close position receives an activation signal when the activation signal is transmitted, for example, to the sensor unit 30 of the tire 2. During at least vehicle traveling, a parameter of the disturbance wave is set such that a disturbance possible area (angle D) effectively applied with the disturbance wave is only applied to a portion near the initiator 12 of the tire 3, and during vehicle traveling, such that it is suppressed by the disturbance wave that the sensor unit 30 of the tire 3 receives at least a part of main data of the activation signal and the crosstalk is prevented, a transmission time of the main data of the activation signal is set.
