<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding device for feeding a sheet-like medium nipped between a pair of conveying rollers, and pressing a medium with a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This feeding device 1-1 includes a pair of conveying rollers opposed to each other in a radial direction, and feeds a sheet-like medium 7 nipped between a pair of the conveying rollers in a conveying direction. A pair of the conveying rollers comprise a drive roller 9 driven and rotated by drive means and applying a force in a conveying direction to the medium, and a rotatable driven roller 20 contacting the drive roller when there is no medium.
